David Sheldon
I grew up in Horsham attending Heron Way Primary, Forest Boys and Collyers and after four years at university came back to live here. I spent the next 20 years in a variety of roles in the telecoms industry before my role was made redundant in 2008.
I joined Horsham Matters in April 2010 after two years working for the local CAB running the Partnerships for Older People project, supporting voluntary and community groups working with older people.
I am currently a District Councillor, where I have been Chairman of Scrutiny and Overview for the last three years and a County Councillor, where sit on both the Adult Services Select and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committees. I am also a trustee of Horsham Area CVS.
I am a member and regular attendee at Brighton Road Baptist Church where I am involved in the music and in leading worship.
