Alcohol Awareness Education Presenter – Volunteer
We are currently looking to recruit an individual with good organisational skills and experience working with volunteers and to manage all our logistics operations. This will include managing the warehouse, organising deliveries and collections, maximising customer and donator satisfaction and optimising efficiency. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for providing guidance and support for all warehouse staff on a day to day basis and for maintaining a work environment which is both enjoyable and safe and where all staff feel supported, properly equipped and highly valued.
This is a full time position, Tuesday to Saturday.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer focused person to support our busy warehouse and office in Horsham. This will include providing a warm welcome to all our donators and will include assisting, where needed, with organising deliveries and collections, maximising customer and donator satisfaction and managing the Gift Aid administration.
This is a part-time post, 10am to 3pm, Tuesday to Saturday

VOLUNTEER ALCOHOL AWARENESS EDUCATION ASSISTANT
A volunteer role has arisen for an Assistant to help deliver Alcohol Awareness sessions in schools and youth settings across the Horsham District, targeting ages 11 – 15. Pairs of volunteers will be delivering the sessions.
This role is part of an exciting new Alcohol Initiative that aims to reduce children/young peoples’:
- all age alcohol consumption
- alcohol related hospital admissions
- alcohol related anti-social behaviour / public placed violent crime
Sessions will be between 45mins to 1 hour. Training will be provided by the YMCA Alcohol Support Worker & supervision will be provided by Horsham Matters. This role is part of a small friendly team. Hours will be a mixture of day time and evening depending on bookings. All expenses will be reimbursed.
Good interpersonal & communications skills, ability to travel about Horsham District and willingness to undertake training are essential. No previous teaching experience required, however, experience or a background in working with children and young people or in an educational/ youth work setting would be desirable.
