Chairman's Introduction for the Year Ended 31 March 2011
"The year has been remarkable from two perspectives.
Firstly the Horsham Matters shop has progressed significantly, and is now on a firm financial footing. Secondly the charitable activities have developed over the year, and we are able to provide employment for those who were unemployed, and also our work supporting youngsters has grown steadily.
We are indebted to a host of volunteers who help with every aspect of the running of the Charity, and we are overwhelmed by the generosity of the community in Horsham and District in supporting the shop with unwanted furniture.
As you read through this report, give thanks to God for the way he has blessed this work. We are certainly proving the verse from Ephesians I quoted in last year's report, 'God can do more than we can ask or imagine'. The next year is shaping up to be even more exciting!"
